About the race
The Discipleship Dash 5K is a community run/walk held in Somerset, Kentucky at 2135 Oak Hill Rd on November 7, 2026. The event is organized by Freeway-Somerset to raise funds for its programs that support people affected by addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and other life-controlling struggles.
Proceeds from the event support a range of services and resources. These include a Christ-centered worship service, weekly discipleship meetings, transportation for participants who need it, meals and fellowship, discipleship materials, outreach efforts, and ongoing support through a Discipleship House where men receive intentional discipleship and community.
Registration for the 5K has a fee of $25.00. Registration opens on July 27, 2026 and closes on November 7, 2026.
The event notes several sponsorship and participation options with defined benefits and gift levels. Sponsor levels include a $1,000 Disciple Maker Sponsor with logo placement on the back of the official race T-shirt, a $500 Saved for More Sponsor, a $250 Serve with a Purpose Sponsor, a $100 In Honor Of option that includes one race registration and a name on an event banner, and a $250 Vendor Table option for organizations wishing to have a vendor table.
