Lucky O'possum Trail Event
The Lucky O’possum takes place at Pulaski County Park in Nancy, Kentucky. This spring event is held along the shores of Lake Cumberland and utilizes the park's network of wooded trails. Participants navigate a landscape characterized by rolling hills and views of the local creeks.
The event offers several distances and categories to accommodate different athletic interests:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon Trail Run)
- 10K Trail Run
- 5K Trail Run
- 5K Trail Competitive Walk
The course consists of well-marked paths through natural terrain. Following the completion of the distances, post-run refreshments are provided for the participants. All finishers receive a commemorative medal featuring an opossum design. Registration for all event categories typically opens in October and closes in early November of the preceding year.
