The Red Top Roaster Trail Run is a trail running event at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia, held on July 25, 2026. Course and logistics
The start and finish are located at the parking lot of the Lodge at Red Top Mountain State Park. The routes use Sweet Gum Trail, Homestead Trail, Campground Trail, Iron Hill Trail, and the Visitor Center Loop Trail. Terrain includes rolling hills, double track, and minimal roots and rocks; the surface is described as forgiving.
Water stations:
- 3.1 mile course: 2 water stations.
- 8.85 mile course: 5 water stations.
Parking is limited and Georgia State Parks requires a $5 parking fee per car or an annual pass. Packet pickup is scheduled for race morning.
Entry fees and awards
Entry fees vary by date and distance, with higher late and race day fees. Medals and prizes will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each race. Medals will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group (14 & Under; 15–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70–74; 75 & Over).
