The Dirty Spokes Iron Hill trail run is scheduled for April 4, 2026, at Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, Georgia. The event is part of the Dirty Spokes series and lists Automation Direct as the presenting sponsor. Field size is capped at 275 participants due to parking availability and course capacity. Georgia State Parks charges a $5.00 parking fee per car or the option to use a yearly pass. Packet pickup will occur the morning of the race.
Course, distances, entry and awards
The course runs from the park parking area into wooded single and double track trails. Much of the terrain follows an old fire road bed. Distances offered:
- 7.5 Miles
- 3.8 Miles
Entry fees vary by distance and registration date. Shirt description: a Super Soft tri-blend shirt is planned, offered in men's and women's sizes; shirts are not guaranteed for late or race day registrants. Awards include medals for overall top three male and female finishers and overall male and female masters winners, plus top three medals in age groups (14 & U; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 & U). Medals must be claimed in person. Walkers may participate but should be able to complete the distances at a 16-minute-per-mile pace or faster to receive an official time.
