Dirty Grass Soul Rockin’ and Runnin’ 5k - Fallston, NC
The Dirty Grass Soul Rockin’ and Runnin’ 5k is the third annual running event held in Fallston, North Carolina. The race distance is 3.1 Miles and the route starts and finishes at Fallston Elementary School, following a loop that travels via NC Hwy 18, Charolais Drive, Fallston-Waco Road, NC 182 (Stage Coach Trail), and Boggs Drive back to the school.
One hundred percent of event proceeds go directly to funding music education programs in Cleveland County schools. The event is organized by the Cleveland County Schools Education Foundation with the memo Dirty Grass Soul Music & Arts Fund. The registration fee is $30.00; registration opens March 31, 2026 and closes June 24, 2026. Registrants who register by June 7 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet pickup is available on the day before the race and on race day at Fallston Elementary School. Awards include first place overall male and female, first place in each age group, and medals for all finishers. Age groups for male and female competitors are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
