Events & Registration
Participants can register for two event categories:
- 5k Timed - Standard entry priced at $30.
- Student 5k - Entry for participants aged 5-17, priced at $25.
Registration for both categories ends on July 1, 2026. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by June 7.
Charitable Purpose
All proceeds from the event are directed to funding music education programs in Cleveland County Schools. The organizing entity is the Cleveland County Schools Education Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Event Details
The event starts and finishes at Fallston Elementary School, located at 112 Gary St. Packet pickup is available on Friday, June 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on the morning of the event from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM at the same location.
The course is a loop that begins at the school and uses local roads, including NC Hwy 18, Charolais Dr., Fallston-Waco Rd., NC 182 (Stage Coach Trail), and Boggs Dr., before returning to the school.
Awards & Recognition
Awards are given for 1st place overall male and female finishers, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group. Age groups span from 14 and under to 80+, in ten-year increments for adults. All finishers will receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
