Dirty Dog Trail Marathon and Half Marathon
The Dirty Dog Trail Marathon and Half Marathon returns for its 10th year in the Boise foothills on the Ridge to Rivers Trail System. The event is organized by Pulse Running and is based near the Military Reserve Flood Basin Dog Park in Boise, ID.
Courses use extensive single track and some dirt road sections. The marathon includes large climbs and fast descents, and the half marathon combines single track with dirt road segments. The first man and the first woman to reach the top of the Hard Guy climb each receive a $100 bill. Aid stations for the Half Marathon are located at miles 4.5, 6.8 and 8.9. Aid stations for the Full Marathon are located at miles 4.5, 6.8, 14.5 and 21.5. Volunteers staff the aid stations.
Shirt orders are placed in advance. Registrations made after Thursday, May 28 are not guaranteed a shirt. Registration status for the event reflects a recent closing on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM local time.
