Dirty Dog Trail Marathon and Half Marathon
The event offers two trail race distances in Boise, Idaho, held on the Ridge to Rivers Trail System near the Military Reserve Flood Basin Dog Park. It is the tenth running of these races on the local trail network.

Both courses include single-track trails and some dirt road sections. The marathon course contains large climbs and fast descents. The half marathon includes similar terrain and is described as appropriate for a first-time trail race. Aid stations are present and described as well stocked with volunteers. Aid station locations for the half marathon are at miles 4.5, 6.8, and 8.9. Aid stations for the full marathon are at miles 4.5, 6.8, 14.5, and 21.5.
A prize of $100 is offered to the first man and first woman to reach the top of the Hard Guy climb. Registration opens on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Mountain Time. A shirt is not guaranteed for registrations made after Saturday, May 30, because tank top orders must be placed by that date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
