Dirty 30: Earn Your Cake
This is a themed fun run held on 05/10/2026 at 1350 White Oak Church Road, Apex, NC. The route covers 3.1 miles and is organized as a non-competitive event; it is not timed and does not declare winners. The run is presented in honor of a milestone birthday.
Every half mile participants encounter a 30 second challenge led by plush pacers. Challenges may include short sprints, bodyweight exercises, playful surprises, and occasional birthday-themed twists. Participants may modify or skip any challenge.
Pace groups are available and are guided by the plush pacers so groups can maintain different speeds, including cruising, jogging, or mixing in walks. The route will be clearly marked and include group checkpoints. Music, encouragement, and a few surprises are part of the event atmosphere.
A post-run celebration will take place in Raleigh. Registration opens 04/05/2026 and closes 05/08/2026. Registration fee is $0.00. The event is described as a supportive, inclusive run club atmosphere rather than a formal race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
