Event overview
The DirtRun Wyre Wizard Trail takes place in the Wyre Forest at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, Kidderminster (DY14 9XQ) on 05 October 2025. The event offers two trail distances:
- Half Marathon (about 13 miles)
- Super Seven (7.6 miles)
The routes run through forest terrain with varied contours and ancient trees. The organiser lists race timing, special finishers medals and finish goodies for all competitors, and category prizes. The event is open to adults and has an age limit: over 17s for the Half Marathon and over 14s for the Super Seven. Competitors must finish within 4 hours, after which the finish line is removed and timing ends.
Practical information
Features supplied by the organiser include medical support and a tail runner, public address commentary, fully signed and marshalled routes, and four water stations with water and sweets. The event carries insurance cover. The Wyre Forest cafe will be open on the day.
Early-bird pricing applies to the first 25 entries for each distance: Half Marathon early price £20 (usual £35) and Super Seven early price £15 (usual £25). The Wyre Forest Visitor Centre operates a pay-and-display car park and a valid parking ticket or Forestry parking permit must be displayed.
