Dirt Farm Brewing 1k, 5k & 10k
This event at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, VA takes place on February 21, 2027 and includes multiple distances that share a route around the property. Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Sippin Series.
The courses use a mix of paved roads and short gravel or dirt sections and feature considerable elevation gains. The 5k and 10k run up and down one side of the road and then up and down the other; the 10k consists of two out-and-back sections. A separate timed 1k Sadists Hill Climb goes to the top of Dirt Hill Farm; participants may do the hill climb alone or in addition to the 5k or 10k. Walkers are welcome. A virtual race option is available.
Runners receive a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery, a finisher medal, a technical Dri-fit event shirt (sizes guaranteed for registrations before Feb 10), and chip timing. Awards include top three men and women overall and age-group awards for multiple age brackets; top three overall are not eligible for age-group prizes.
The race benefits the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Water stations are placed along the courses at specified mile markers.
