Event overview
The Dirt Farm Brewing 1k, 5k & 10k takes place on January 31, 2026 at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, VA. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series and the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person. The event benefits the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Department members, their families, and the local community.

Course and logistics
The course uses a mix of paved and gravel/dirt roads and includes considerable elevation gain; the 10k consists of two out-and-back sections. The race is chip timed. Runners receive a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery, a finisher medal, and a technical (Dri-Fit) event shirt. Water stations: five along the 10k at approximately miles 0.6, 1.7, 3.1, 3.9, and 5. The 5k has two water stations at approximately miles 0.8 and 1.9; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the cidery. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to 1st and 2nd place in standard age groups; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards. Packet pickup is available at the event; t-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before January 21. Registration fees vary by distance and increase on race morning.
