About the race
The event at Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, VA on February 21, 2027 offers timed running options on a mixed paved and gravel/dirt course with notable elevation gains. Points from the race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack Series, and the Sippin Series.
Distances offered:
- 1k Sadists Hill Climb, a timed run to the top of Dirt Hill Farm.
- 5k around the property on a route with some dirt and paved sections.
- 10k out-and-back course composed of two out-and-back sections.
The course includes considerable climbs and descents. The 10k has five water stations at approximately miles 0.6, 1.7, 3.1, 3.9, and 5, with two water stations on the 5k at about miles 0.8 and 1.9; some stations will also offer Gatorade. Restrooms are located behind Great Country Farms. Packet pickup and parking are handled at Henway Hard Cider.
Registered runners receive a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before February 10. Entry fees differ by distance and increase after January 31; race morning registration incurs an additional fee increase.
Awards include top three men and women overall and age-group awards across multiple age categories. The race benefits the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Foundation.
