Dino Stomp Out Kids Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk/Hike
This fundraising run and walk is hosted by Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation at Dinosaur Valley State Park event field in Glen Rose, Texas. The event benefits children fighting cancer and uses park trails that are opened to participants specifically for this occasion.

The 5K course follows trails along the Paluxy River and passes real dinosaur tracks on the river shore. The one mile option is presented as a fun run, walk, or hike, and children who race are eligible to receive a free kite for a post-race flying event. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by April 30, 2026.
Registration fees are presented in three tiers by registration date: Early Bird through April 30, 2026; Advanced from May 1 through June 5, 2026; and Race Day on June 6, 2026. Early Bird fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the 1 Mile. Advanced fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $12.00 for the 1 Mile. Race Day fees are $35.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the 1 Mile.
Awards are given by male and female age divisions and include medals for overall and master finishers and kites for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
