About the race
The Diamond 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 11, 2026 at Colonial Park, 156 Mettlers Road, Somerset, NJ. The event is offered as an in-person race and as a virtual option with a dedicated virtual upload window.

Registration includes in-person and virtual entries, with a separate student category for participants 21 and under. Fees include processing charges and are non-refundable. Some virtual entries may not include a bib or event swag. Personalized bibs are available for participants who register at least three weeks before the event.
Amenities listed for participants include a finisher medal for all participants, live and text and email results, and free finish line photos. Bib pickup is available early at Road Runner Sports in North Brunswick on October 9 (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm) and at the event from event staff on race day. Virtual bibs may be shipped within a window from one week before to one week after the event.
Awards are given to the top overall finishers in M, F, and X divisions and to top finishers in age groups: 17 and under, 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, and 71 plus.
