About the race
Día de Muertos 5K is an inaugural running event on October 24, 2026, at Pepper Ranch Campground, 6315 Pepper Road, Immokalee, Florida 34142. The event includes community-oriented race distances and a themed finish-line celebration.

The route takes participants through the natural surroundings of Pepper Ranch and returns to a finish area with Día de Muertos-inspired activities. The event will feature décor, traditional imagery, music, and themed touches throughout the site. Participants are encouraged to wear calavera-inspired costumes, colorful attire, floral headpieces, or face paint.
The finish-line celebration will include music, food, entertainment, photo opportunities, cultural activities, and vendors. Additional details about giveaways, entertainment, and race-day activities will be announced closer to the event.
Packet pickup is handled through Fleet Feet Fort Myers, with additional pickup dates and times to be announced. Registration for the events opens August 8, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. The registration fee listed is $30.00.
Timing and awards are provided as follows: the 5K will be professionally chip timed. Overall awards for the top three overall male and female finishers will be determined by gun time. Age group awards will be determined by chip time for male and female finishers in these groups: 0–9, 10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.
