Día De Los Muertos Not-So-Fun Run

This community event takes place at Retama Park in Selma, Texas, with a themed Día De Los Muertos atmosphere. The main event is a timed 5K on a flat course, and participants are invited to wear costumes in the Día De Los Muertos style. Magnolia Pancake Haus provides a haus-made pancake breakfast for participants after the run. The event notes a family-friendly setting that welcomes walkers and strollers and lists finisher medals and T-shirts for participants in the main event.

The kids run is open only to children aged 8 and under. All kid finishers receive a ribbon and a goodie bag; no shirts are provided for the kids run. Registration fees listed are $40 for the 5K Run & Walk and $10 for the Kids NSFR. Registration windows are provided by the organizer for each event.

Proceeds benefit the Haus Family Foundation, which supports local nonprofits and will direct funds to GRASP - Greater Randolph Area Services Program to assist people experiencing poverty, food and shelter insecurity, and isolated seniors.
