Dia de los Muertos 5K - San Antonio
This annual Dia de los Muertos themed event features a 5K run and walk at McAllister Park Pavilion #2 in San Antonio on October 25, 2026. The event honors the Day of the Dead tradition and includes a Dia de los Muertos costume contest and additional on-site activities.
Participants receive official event apparel and finisher medals for 2026 when available. Packet pick-up details are to be determined. The event organizer lists a no refund policy for registration fees.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female winners, male and female masters, and 10-year age group awards for the top three in each group. Age group awards are based on chip time and overall winner awards are based on gun time. No duplication of awards is permitted.
A free kids run is offered on race day. The kids run does not include finisher medals; awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. A limited number of kids shirts are available on a first come, first served basis.
Event fees are tiered with no refunds: $30 early bird, $35 starting March 1, $40 starting June 1, and $45 on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
