Event Overview
The first annual Día de los Muertos 5K takes place in North Las Vegas at 2880 N Van Der Meer St. This event is organized by the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education to benefit Cristo Rey St Viator High School. The race centers on the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead, a celebration focused on honoring and remembering loved ones through music, color, and community gathering.

The course is designed to be family-friendly and is open to participants of various ages and abilities, including runners, walkers, and those using strollers. Registration includes an officially timed race bib and a unisex 50/50 blend race shirt. A unique finisher medal is provided to the first 500 registered participants.
Recognition and Community Activities
Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as winners across 10-year age groups. Participants are also eligible for a best costume award. Following the completion of the race, the event hosts a procession that is open to the general public. This post-race gathering includes music, cultural celebrations, and the presence of local vendors. All registration fees are directed toward supporting Cristo Rey St Viator High School.
