SafeNest 8th Annual Run for Hope 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The SafeNest Run for Hope is an annual fundraising event held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Sunset Park, 2601 E Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV. The event includes a timed 5K with chip timing, a 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk, and a 1 Mile Pet Walk. Pets are welcome to participate.
A Health + Wellness Fair with local vendors and giveaways runs alongside the runs and is open to the community without event participation. The day concludes with a medal ceremony that recognizes the top finishers in several categories: top three women, top three men, top three youth (ages 3 to 17), and top dog.
Funds raised support SafeNest services, including emergency shelter, counseling, and pet services such as onsite pet housing, supplies, and health and wellness exams. Registration fees are non-refundable and directly support SafeNest’s mission. Day of registrations are accepted and the organizer requests credit card payment only; cash will not be accepted.
