20th Dewey Beach Liquors 5K
The 20th Dewey Beach Liquors 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 in Dewey Beach, DE. The event is part number three of the Ten Sisters of Dewey Beach road race series and moves to a new location at North Beach Restaurant, 125 McKinley St., on the bay.
The event format includes:
- 5K run/walk
- Competitive walking 5K for walkers who must walk the entire course
Published registration fees include a standard 5K price and a competitive walking price. Additional post race party tickets are available for purchase. Shirts are gender specific and available to the first 510 participants.
Course and race operations note that timing is done with MYLAPS BibTag chip timing by R2R Timing and that results will be posted online during and after the event. Awards are given by gun time for top overall and masters finishers and by chip net time for most age groups. Prize gift cards are listed for top overall and masters placements and age group awards are given in five year bands including walkers.
Additional details: limited parking at Northbeach, free street parking at meters and side streets until 10 am, no dogs allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non transferable, and registrations are non refundable.
