Devonvale 5km Night Run/Walk
The event is an untimed 5 km fun run and walk on the cart paths around Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, Bottelary Road, Koelenhof, Western Cape. The route includes approximately 150 m of ascent and uses paths around the golf course.
The atmosphere is described as fun and children are welcome. Headlights or torches are advisable for participants. There are no finish medals; prizes are awarded to the top three men, the top three women and the top child under 15. Organisers also run lucky draws sponsored by the estate.
On-site facilities include lots of parking, short showers and discounted accommodation. Warm fires and food specials are available in the restaurant Chez Shiraz.
