Virgin Active HYROX Cape Town (Season 26/27)
Virgin Active HYROX Cape Town takes place from 14 August 2026 to 16 August 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Convention Square, 1 Lower Street, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa. The event opens the 26/27 HYROX season in Cape Town and includes multiple competition formats across the weekend.
Event divisions include singles, doubles, relay formats, professional divisions and corporate relays. Athlete race information, start lists and technical briefings are published in the lead up to the event. On-site registration for each division opens 90 minutes before that division's first start wave. Athletes must bring ID, cannot check in on behalf of others, and during race weekend check-in is only possible on the day of competition.
Race packages and on-site services include the HYROX finishers patch, live leaderboard results with split timings, age group award ceremonies in each division and qualification slots for certain age groups for the World Championships. Aid stations are provided pre, during and post event. Professional event photography is available through the official partner Sportograf; images are generally viewable about 48 hours after racing and can be purchased.
Ticketing options include Flex Add-Ons. LITE FLEX permits one name change until 07:59 AM South Africa Standard Time the day before the event and offers no refunds. FLEX permits one name change until 07:59 AM the day before the event and provides refund windows up to 31 days or 7 days before the event subject to fees.
