Run The Vines 2026 #9 - Kloovenburg
Run The Vines 2026 #9 takes place on 22 August 2026 at Kloovenburg Wine and Olive Estate in Riebeek-Kasteel, Western Cape. The event is part of the Run The Vines series presented by First Ascent and is staged on a working farm that includes vineyards, olive groves and table grape sections.
The estate grows a range of Mediterranean cultivars including Carignan, Shiraz, Grenache noir and blanc, Roussanne, Verdelho and Chenin Blanc, and also produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Wine production began on the farm in 1997 and a cellar was established in 2000. The farm hosts tastings and farmstay visits.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent. The 3 km parent and child distance is intended for parents with small children and not for individual adults; adults are required to enter the 5 km or longer distances.
Timing is provided by BoutTime and competitors collect timing tags at registration. A permanent timing tag is available for purchase. Live results and SMS result notifications are provided. Course distances may vary because the routes run across working farms. Waterpoints will be available but participants are advised to be self-sufficient for hydration.
