Devonvale 5km Night Run/Walk
The event is an untimed fun run and walk held at Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The course uses cart paths around the golf course and includes approximately 150 m of ascent. The distance offered is 5 km.
The atmosphere is described as fun and children are welcome. Participants are advised to bring headlights or torches for running at night. There are no finish medals, but prizes are awarded to the top three men, the top three women and a top child under 15, and there are additional lucky draws sponsored by the estate.
On-site facilities include ample parking, short showers and accommodation. A special accommodation rate of R1250 per night for up to two people, excluding breakfast, is available using the code FunRunJuly. Warm fires and food specials are offered in the on-site restaurant Chez Shiraz.
The event is run by Devonmust (Pty) Ltd and takes place at the Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate on Bottelary Road, Koelenhof, Stellenbosch.
