Devil Dog 10K Run/Walk
The Devil Dog 10K Run/Walk is part of the 11th annual Devil Dog 5K and 10K Run/Walk held on October 4, 2026 at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park in Boca Raton, Florida. The event benefits the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance and professional services to qualified disabled Florida veterans.
The event day includes several race options and family activities:
- 10K Run/Walk event.
- 5K Run/Walk event.
- 1 Mile Fun Walk non timed.
- 1 Mile Kids Race for ages 1 to 12.
- Donation options labeled I hate running and I REALLY hate running.
Participants gather at the Sunset Pavilion and must enter through the Glades Road entrance. The event program features ceremonial elements such as a bagpiper, a mascot, and a color guard leading runners to the start line, followed by the national anthem. Awards are given to overall finishers, with first place male and female receiving a pair of shoes from Fleet Feet Delray Beach and the top three male and female overall receiving plaques and event items. Event t shirts are guaranteed to the first 1,000 registered participants and finisher medals for the first 1,000 finishers in the 5K and 10K.
