Hill Training
Derwent Runners Hill Training is an in-person interval running session at Darley Park Drive Car Park in Derby. The session is described as like a 5 km run, mainly uphill, and is structured to build speed, strength and stamina.
All groups are led by a qualified leader. Training uses interval work for a range of speeds and strength levels. The session is presented as suitable for a range of abilities, from beginners and improvers through to faster runners. Typical routes are used; in summer the hills take place in Darley Park and some routes start at the Darley Park Drive Car Park.
The organiser is Derwent Runners. The event listing notes a one hour duration and that routes are available for reference. New members and guests are requested to register as members via the club website and the club collects emergency contact details for safety. The session is offered as an offline, in-person group training activity at the stated park location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
