Six Dales Circuit
The event is a 25 miles route in the White Peak, starting and finishing at Biggin Village Hall (SK17 0DL). The route visits Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Beresford Dale, Hartington, Monyash, Lathkill Dale, Bradford Dale, Middleton and Long Dale. The route description is provided to entrants and map OL24 is required.
There are three staffed checkpoints at Hartington (CP1), Monyash (CP2) and Middleton (CP3). Snacks and drinks are available at the checkpoints and a meal is provided at the finish. Retirements are allowed at checkpoints only; entrants who reach a checkpoint after it has closed may be retired from the event.
Entry is limited to 200 participants and a waiting list operates if the event fills. Entries open 1 August 2026 and close 3 November 2026. Entry fees are listed for LDWA members and non members. The event includes a certificate for finishers.
Organised by LDWA - Staffordshire, the event specifies essential equipment including waterproofs, map OL24, compass, route description, mug, whistle and torch. Use of the free car park as directed by event marshals is required; parking on roads or verges is not permitted. Dogs are welcome on short leads but are not allowed in the village halls and owners must hold pet owner liability insurance. A 60% refund applies for cancellations received up to two weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
