Venue and race logistics
Swimming will take place in the reservoir waters. The cycle routes use quiet country lanes and the runs follow relatively flat paths and trails. Wetsuits are expected to be optional based on water temperature, with a recommendation for less experienced swimmers. The transition area is secure and for competitors only; race and bike numbers must match racking numbers, helmets must be worn and bike numbers attached before entry, and bike and bib numbers will be checked after the race. Parking is available at Derwent Waterside Park for £3 per vehicle, with a 10–15 minute walk to the event area. Route maps are provided for sprint and standard distances.
