Tara Kinder Memorial 10K : event description
The Tara Kinder Memorial 10K is a non-profit road race held at Elvaston Castle main car park on 10 July 2026. Proceeds from the event are donated to local charities. The race is promoted as a flat, chip-timed road course on pavement.

Maximum entry is 600 runners. Entries close on 08/07/2026 and transfers close on 08/07/2026. The minimum entry age is 15 years. Entry fees are listed as £17 for affiliated runners and £19 for unattached runners. The organiser’s terms state there are no refunds or deferrals.
Logistics and facilities noted by the organiser include parking in the Elvaston Castle main car park (B5010 DE72 3EN) with parking charges applied; a What Three Words location is provided for precision. Race numbers and timing chips are available for collection from 6pm on race day at Race HQ and must be worn as instructed; without the timing chip a competitor will not appear in the results. Public toilets in the main car park will be open. There are no showers or changing rooms. A mobile stall will sell hot and cold drinks and food.
Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women overall and to winners of the listed age categories (Under 20; MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70; FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70). Presentation is scheduled roughly 30 minutes after the first finisher. The organiser requests no headphones, no dogs, and no buggies or pushchairs.
