About the race
The Demi Marathon des Lacs is presented as the first edition of a nature road race around the lake route between Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc and St-Élie-de-Caxton. The course alternates between paved and unpaved surfaces, follows scenic lake roads in autumn, and includes rolling hills and panoramic views.

Logistics and services include bib and shirt pickup at the Centre Communautaire de Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, 520 Chemin Déziel, on the listed days before the event and the morning of the event. Participants must have their bib at least 30 minutes before their start. There is no on-site registration the day of the race.
Transfer and refund policy: no refunds; transfers and distance changes are permitted through the SportChrono platform until 24 August 23:59 with applicable fees; medical deferral to the following year is allowed with a doctor’s note.
Support and facilities: water points and toilets are located near the 5 km and 10 km marks, first aid services are available, and live results will be posted on SportChrono. Medals and Dry Fit shirts can be purchased during registration; profits from shirt sales will be donated to the Fondation de l’École de la Tortue-des-Bois.
Access and parking notes mention nearby street parking with volunteers to guide drivers, many spaces within a ten minute walk, and suggested driving routes to avoid delays. Race rules prohibit strollers and pets and require that headphones allow outside sound to be heard. Time limits are specified for each distance.
