Demi Marathon de l'Acadie
The Demi Marathon de l'Acadie takes place in Tracadie-Sheila on July 5, 2026. The start and finish location is Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall. The original route was changed in 2026 due to the closure of the Snowball Bridge; the new course consists of two loops starting and finishing at the same location.

Runners registered for both distances start from the same start line. Runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 20 minutes may request an early start; they must inform the race director the day before the race no later than 18h. The virtual race can be completed on any course after registration; participants must send a selfie showing their watch with time and distance to the race director before 18h on the Sunday of the in person event.
Registration is online only and there is no race day registration. All fees are non refundable. The course is not certified. The organizing committee lists 2026 as the year established.
Awards: the top three overall and the top three female finishers in each distance receive medals (gold silver bronze). Medals are presented on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne after the race, where a meal is served to participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
