The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie takes place in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, on February 1, 2026. The race was established in 2025. The course has been changed because of the closure of the Snowball Bridge in downtown Tracadie. The new route starts and finishes at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall, Tracadie.
Race details
- Half Marathon
The half marathon uses the 10 km de Tracadie course run twice. Two water stations will be available on the route. The course is not certified. Registered runners collect their bibs on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne; a meal and the medal presentation take place after the race.
Registration is online only; there is no race-day registration. The minimum age to register is 16 years. The regular registration fee is $20 CAD and the event does not allow refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
