Demi marathon de l'Acadie, Tracadie-Sheila
The Demi marathon de l'Acadie takes place in person in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, on February 1, 2026. Due to the closure of the Snowball Bridge, the course was changed for an undetermined period: start and finish are at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall, and the event uses the 10 km Tracadie loop run twice. Two water stations will be available.
The main distance is the half marathon. The course is not certified. Registered runners collect their bibs on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne; a meal is served after the race and medals are awarded. Runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 15 minutes to complete the course are asked to contact the race director in advance to arrange alternate options.
Registration is online only and race day registration is not available. Minimum age to register is 16 years. The event was established in 2025. Regular fees are listed at 20.00 CAD and the organizer states that no refunds are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
