Delta Lake Triathlon - Rome, NY
The Delta Lake Triathlon takes place on July 18, 2026, at Delta Lake State Park in Rome, NY. The event is produced by Wilson Endurance Sports in cooperation with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation - Central Region.
The race day program includes Sprint Triathlon, Sprint AquaBike, Olympic Triathlon, Olympic AquaBike, the Delta Double and Delta Double - AquaBike options, and relay team categories for both Sprint and Olympic distances.
Course format and distances:
- 750 m swim
- 11 mile bike, moderate hilly sections outside the park
- 5K run, held within the state park
Olympic participants complete two loops of each course. The run finishes adjacent to the lake inside the park. Paratriathletes are welcome. Relay teams of two or three are permitted for the Sprint and Olympic triathlon events only. AquaBike competitors end their event after the bike segment. The organizers state there are no cut-off times for any events.
