Utica Ugly Sweater 5K
The Utica Ugly Sweater 5K takes place on December 6, 2026 in New York Mills, NY at 9 Clinton St. The event program includes in-person 5K runs for Team Santa and Team Grinch, virtual 5K options for both teams, and a Yeti 5K Walk.
Runners in the in-person Team Santa and Team Grinch events receive a custom long sleeve shirt and a custom finisher medal. Walkers in the Yeti 5K Walk receive a custom winter beanie and a finisher medal. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday December 3 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at The Snack Rack, 1402 Champlin Ave, Utica, NY, and on race day from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Pizza Boys, 9 Clinton St, New York Mills.
The road course starts and finishes at Pizza Boys in New York Mills. A post race party will be held at Pizza Boys with free food for runners and beer specials. Awards will be given to overall and age group winners. An Ugly Sweater Contest will present prizes for Best Ugly Sweater, Most Creative, and Most Funny.
The event benefits the NY Mills HS PTSO and the field is capped at 300 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
