Delaware River Loop Series 2026–2027
The Delaware River Loop Series is a noncompetitive winter running series organized over six loops that together total 66 miles along the Delaware River in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, from the Trenton area to Frenchtown. The series spans less than six months, with group runs scheduled between October 2026 and February 21, 2027. Participants may run with the group or complete loops on their own within the series window.
The six loop distances and primary locations are:
- 6.6 miles - Yardley Park and Ride, Yardley PA
- 7.1 miles - Holcombe Jimison Farmstead Museum, Lambertville NJ
- 7.3 miles - Bulls Island Recreation Area, Stockton NJ
- 11.1 miles - Yardley Park and Ride, Yardley PA
- 14.8 miles - Washington Crossing Park, Titusville NJ
- 18.9 miles - Bulls Island Recreation Area, Stockton NJ
Aid stations will be available during group runs and first-time finishers receive a unique handmade finisher award. Repeat finishers receive different gifts and can join the Steam Mule Stable. The series is strictly limited to 100 registrants and the series fee is $15, which covers at least one stocked aid station per group run and the first-time finisher award. Dates and routes may change due to weather or trail conditions; loops may convert to out-and-back routes and organizers will communicate updates to registrants. Entrants who cannot attend a group run may complete loops independently and submit documentation to the organizer by the series end date.
