Newtown Haunted Hustle 5K
The Newtown Haunted Hustle 5K is a scenic run or walk through historic Newtown Borough, PA, with the start and finish at 30 N Chancellor Street in the Chancellor Building parking lot. The event takes place on 10/17/2026 and is organized as a timed, USATF certified 5K course with professional timing provided by Pretzel City Sports.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and festive Halloween gear. Registered participants receive a finisher medal and a Haunted Hustle T-shirt while supplies last. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to the top three in the 12 and under category; costume prizes are also included. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds.
Bib and T-shirt pick up is required on 10/15 and 10/16 at Second Sin Brewing, 17 N. State St., Newtown, PA. Parking on site is limited; street parking may be available on S. Chancellor St, Washington Ave, and Lincoln Ave. An after party will be held at Second Sin Brewery where participants over 21 receive one complimentary drink ticket and a portion of purchases will support the event beneficiary.
All proceeds from the event benefit the NR2F1 Foundation, which supports families and individuals with rare NR2F1 variants through education, advocacy, and research. The condition is described as an ultra rare genetic disorder characterized by autistic features, intellectual disabilities, visual impairments, and related challenges.
