Deer Dash 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run : Monticello, GA
The 28th Annual Deer Dash takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Monticello, Georgia (119 West Washington Street, Monticello 31064). The event program includes a chipped 5K run/walk, a one-mile Run/Walk fun run, and a Phantom Runner option for entrants who do not run. The 5K course is USATF certified (GA19017DJ).

Registration, shirts, course and awards
Registration fees listed are $35 for the Deer Dash 5K (plus a signup fee) and $25 for the 1-Mile Run/Walk (plus a signup fee). A combo option for both events applies a $10 discount at payment. T-shirt registration closes Monday, October 6, 2025; online registration without a shirt remains open until October 28, 2025. Phantom Runners receive a shirt; mailing is offered with an $8 fee or local pickup at the Chamber of Commerce. Early packet pickup and last-minute registration are available at the Monticello Chamber of Commerce on Friday, October 31 starting at 1:00pm, and race day registration is available beginning at 7:00am.
Fun Run awards are given to the overall male and female finishers age 10 and younger, and all Fun Runners receive a finisher medal. 5K awards are given to overall male/female, masters male/female, and in five-year age groups from 10 and under through 70 and over.
