Decatur DeKalb 5K (July 18, 2026)
The Decatur DeKalb 5K is the fourth event in the 2026 Grand Prix Series organized by the Atlanta Track Club. The route runs through neighborhoods in the City of Decatur and starts and finishes at Decatur High School, 310 N McDonough St, Decatur, Ga 30030.
Registration for the event will open in late May. Entry for this race is free for Atlanta Track Club members; members also receive two guest passes they can share with non-members for members-only Grand Prix events.

There is no on-site parking at Decatur High School. Participants are encouraged to use MARTA or the available public parking areas and to allow extra time to find parking. Paid public parking options and legal street parking are available nearby.
The course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace). For safety and event operation, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind are permitted on the course, and headphones are strongly discouraged. Timing is provided by a MYLAPS ThinTag attached to the back of the race number; the tag must not be removed or bent. Unofficial results are available immediately via the event app and official results are posted roughly two weeks after the event.
