Decatur DeKalb 5K
The Decatur DeKalb 5K is the fourth event in the 2026 Grand Prix Series. It takes place on July 18, 2026 at Decatur High School in Decatur, Georgia, and follows a course through City of Decatur neighborhoods.
The race distance is 5K. The published course time limit is 1 hour and 15 minutes, which corresponds to a 25 minute per mile pace. For safety and course management, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind are permitted, and headphones are strongly discouraged.
There is no on-site parking at Decatur High School. Participants are encouraged to use MARTA or public parking options in the downtown Decatur area, and to allow time to find parking. Atlanta Track Club notes it is not responsible for parking fees or citations.
This event is free for Atlanta Track Club members; guest passes are available through the club for member use. Atlanta Track Club provides timing with a MYLAPS ThinTag affixed to the back of the race number and requires that race numbers be visible and unaltered for accurate scoring. The club offers opportunities for Athletes With Disabilities and will provide reasonable accommodations on an individualized basis.
