Dean Granger Memorial 5K (Orange, Texas)

The event is centered on a professionally timed 5K road race held in Orange, Texas, with an additional kids' run introduced for 2026. It takes place at 708 Simmons Drive and supports the local United Way through participant involvement and on-site activities.

Registration opens on May 1. Registrations completed by September 8 include a race shirt and the lower fee of $30 plus processing; registrations after that date are $40 plus processing. The kids' run has no registration fee. Early packet pick up is available on the Friday before the event at Granger Chevrolet Service Area between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.

Vendors will be on site offering giveaways and information. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and gender; age groups start at 10 and under and continue through 70 plus. Separate medals are awarded to the fastest male and fastest female overall. The event also includes a Team Granger cash opportunity with a $1,000 award that will be given to one selected participant.
