LCM Legacy Color Run and Walk
The LCM Legacy Color Run and Walk is a 5K event in Orange, Texas, on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The event is organized to raise money to support grants provided by the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) established in 2002 to receive and administer gifts and make grants that enhance teaching and learning in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District.
Registration is priced at $30 for most participants, $20 for ages 5–12, and free for ages 0–4. Registration fees increase after April 11, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT. Participants who register before April 12 are guaranteed a free color run shirt.
Logistics and policies
Participants age 11 and up are eligible for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards by age group and gender. Participants age 10 and under receive a participation ribbon only. Race bibs, T-shirts, and swag bags may be picked up the day before at the LCM Administration Building from 9:00am to 6:00pm and on race day after 7:00am. Race day parking is available at Little Cypress Junior High; attendees are asked to walk to the start line and avoid blocking the start/finish area and activities at Legacy Park. No refunds will be given for inclement weather. If the event is canceled, information about packet pickup and event updates will be posted on the LCM Education Foundation Facebook page.
