Deam Lake Winter Warrior
The event is the Deam Lake stop in the Second Annual Winter Warrior Series held at Deam Lake Park, 1217 Deam Lake Rd, Borden, IN 47106. Races take place on the Yellow Trail around Deam Lake with the start and finish near the Buzzards Roost Shelter.

- 6 Miles
- 12 Miles
- 4 hour endurance run that allows participants to run the loop as many times as possible within a four hour time limit.
All finishers receive a race-specific finisher coin. Optional shirts are available as a preorder for $15 and a limited number may be for sale on race day. Each race awards overall male and female winners. Completing three of the four series races qualifies a participant for the Winter Warrior medal and shirt.
The event is cupless; participants should bring their own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. Bottled water will be available in limited supply and water and prepackaged snacks will be available after the race. An aid station will be located near the trail head for those doing multiple loops. On-site restrooms are available near the start area.
Parking at Buzzards Roost Shelter is limited; overflow parking is at the main lot and requires a walk. The trail is shared with horses; runners should approach slowly and communicate with riders for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
