DCB Color Run: Lake City, SC
The DCB Color Run is a 5K run/walk held on April 18, 2026, at the Bean Market Museum, 111 Henry St., Lake City, SC. The event is produced by Dramatic Coffee Beans, Inc. and proceeds benefit DCB.
The course starts and finishes at the Bean Market Museum and follows a fairly flat route through downtown Lake City and around the local lake. The route is described as scenic and accessible for running, walking, or pushing a stroller.
Color stations are set up along the course and participation in the color elements is optional. The event concludes with a large color blast and an awards ceremony. Additional on-site features include live music, food, and displays of local art.
Race apparel and items are listed as race swag. Participants receive a 5K t-shirt and a specialty gift while supplies last. Medals are awarded to overall finishers and in age groups. Overall awards are based on gun time with top three male and female overall placings. Age group awards are given to the top finisher in each category. Age groups include 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Registration fees vary by date. Youth pricing for ages 18 and under is listed as a $10 discount applied after registering. Strollers and pets are allowed, and participants may listen to music while on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
