DC SAFE 5k & Half
The DC SAFE 5k & Half takes place in Washington, DC, offering participants the opportunity to run through the heart of Georgetown. The event features multiple distance options that utilize the scenic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path.

The Half Marathon course starts and finishes in Georgetown in the vicinity of the Potomac Boat Club. The 5k event starts and finishes at Fletcher's Boat House, located at 4940 Canal Rd NW. Both routes follow the flat terrain of the canal path near the Potomac River.
Walkers are permitted to participate in these events. Registration is open to the public with tiered pricing based on the registration date. In addition to the physical races in Washington, virtual participation options are available, with some packages including a commemorative medal or shirt.
