DC Fall Classic 5k & Half
The DC Fall Classic takes place in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC. The event features two primary distances on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path, providing a scenic route near the Potomac River and the Nation's Capital.
The event offers the following race categories:
- Half Marathon
- 5k
- Virtual options (with or without a medal and shirt)
The Half Marathon follows a course that begins and ends in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club. The 5k distance utilizes a different segment of the canal path, starting and finishing at Fletcher's Boat House. Both courses are situated on the C&O Canal path, characterized by its historic trail environment.
Walkers are permitted to participate in these events. Registration is available for in-person participants as well as those wishing to complete the distance virtually. The event also provides opportunities for individuals to participate as volunteers. The registration system allows for participant transfers if necessary.
