The Day of the Dead Half Marathon in Waco, Texas takes place at Indian Springs Park on October 11, 2026. The event offers multiple distances, a pre-race costume contest, on-course aid stations, chip timing for selected races, and a post-race rally with music, food, and awards.
Race services include packet pickup beginning 1.5 hours before the start, on-course aid stations that provide water, and mixed course surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Finishers receive medals and tee shirts where specified; trophies and age-group awards are provided for the timed races. A DJ will announce runners and awards at the rally tent.
A pre-race costume contest is judged before the start; the winner receives the Day of the Dead Best Costume Award and a prize package.
