Shipley Donut Dash 5K and associated events
This event takes place on October 10, 2026 at First Woodway, MAC, 101 Ritchie Road, Woodway, Texas. The program includes an in-person chip timed 5K, a 1 mile fun run that is untimed, and a virtual 5K option. Registration fees are $25 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $15 for the 1 mile fun run. Registration opens July 10; in-person registration closes October 8 and the virtual 5K registration closes October 10.
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, October 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the race site. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by September 26; quantities are very limited after that date. The event is stroller friendly and will provide donuts and medals after the run.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female places and the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Age groups are 14 and under, 15 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. No duplicate awards will be issued. All finishers receive medals. Proceeds from the event will support Walk to End Alzheimer's in Waco, Texas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
