Event Details

The 1st Day Live and Virtual 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk is an annual event organized by the Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary. It takes place on January 1st. The event includes two live options: a Sanctioned 5K Run / Walk and a 1 Mile Walk. The race uses chip timing with a net-time measurement from the start to the finish line.

Practical Information

The live event starts at Memorial Middle School in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The 5K registration fee is $30, and the 1 Mile Walk fee is $29. General registration opens on October 1 of the preceding year. A commemorative t-shirt is guaranteed for entries received by December 1 of the year before the event. The event is a USATF-sanctioned race (ID# 161239) and is a USA Track & Field Grand Prix event offering 500 points.
