Davis Moonlight Run
The Davis Moonlight Run is an evening running event held at Schilling Robotics, 201 Cousteau Place, Davis, CA. The program includes multiple timed distances, short fun dashes, and a virtual entry option. Courses are described as flat and travel along city streets and Davis greenbelts.
Timed race amenities include a dri-blend short sleeved race shirt (option to opt out), a heavyweight finisher medal with a cow theme, age group awards, special divisions, post race music, complimentary sno-cones, beer samples for ages 21 and over, and free downloadable athlete photos added for 2026. There are course aid stations offering water and Gatorade. Wheelchairs for disabled athletes and strollers are permitted. Dogs are not allowed on course except for service animals. Free parking is available in adjacent business parks off Cousteau Place.
Special divisions include Cancer Survivor, local resident categories (Davis, Woodland, Sacramento), college student, and an adaptive division with a support runner option. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers per gender and by age group; overall awards use gun time and age group awards use net time. Cut off times are set for longer distances. Packet pick up is available before race night and on race night; bib and shirt pick up is provided in the evening. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
