Dashing in the Dark
Dashing in the Dark is a nighttime 5K held at Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114. The event includes in-person and virtual options and three entry types.
- 5K in-person, includes shirt.
- 5K No Shirt in-person, no shirt option.
- Virtual 5K complete the distance remotely.
The course runs through park paths with variable lighting; some sections are well lit while others are very dark. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring headlamps or flashlights to help with visibility on darker stretches.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given in five-year age groups starting at 10 and Under for the in-person race. Registration windows and fees vary by entry type: the standard 5K and the Virtual 5K have the same registration period and fee, while the 5K No Shirt has a separate registration window and fee.
