Dash 'N Splash Race for Brain and Spinal Cord Injury : Ridgeland, MS
Dash ’N Splash is a family-friendly, inclusive event held at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland, Mississippi on June 27, 2026. The main 5K is chip timed and is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair or survivor participants who start together. The course is paved and accessible, with optional splash zones, waterslides, and water activities along the route and at the finish area; participants may choose whether to take part in those features.
Wheelchair users and survivors are invited to line up at the front of the start line and receive separate recognition and awards. During registration participants select their participation type (run, walk, or wheelchair/survivor) so results and awards reflect that choice. The Fun Run is a separate 1K event open to all ages, with awards for participants age 10 and under. Wheelchair and survivor registration for the 5K is free. Some 5K entries include processing fees in the listed price.
Spectators are welcome and may cheer, splash, and celebrate. Strollers are permitted in the 5K and should line up toward the back of the start. Service animals and leashed dogs are allowed. Costumes, team spirit, and creative water gear are encouraged. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before and on race day at local pickup locations.
