Balloon Chase 2026
Balloon Chase 2026 is part of the MS Hot Air Balloon Fest and takes place at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center in Canton, Mississippi. The event features two non competitive race programs for cyclists and runners presented by Canton Tourism, Canton Parks and Recreation, the Mid-Mississippi Balloon Association, and The Good Samaritan Center. Participants receive a Balloon Chase t shirt, a race medal, and a VIP dinner voucher, and can take part in activities alongside hot air balloons.
There are multiple distance options available:
- 10 mile bike ride, out-and-back turning at mile five, refreshment tent at turnaround
- 30 mile bike ride, large loop with a refreshment tent near mile 15
- 4 mile evening run
- 2 mile evening run
A Kid's Fun Run of a quarter mile follows the adult runs and includes a medal and VIP dinner access for participating children.
The event offers single-event entries and combined bike-plus-run options. Registration fees are listed for each entry type and higher day of registration rates apply.
