Balloon Chase 2026
Balloon Chase 2026 takes place at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center in Canton, MS, and is presented as part of the MS Hot Air Balloon Fest. The event features two non-competitive race programs for cyclists and runners organized by local partners.
Participants can choose among multiple distances and combinations. The event offers refreshment tents on the bike routes and a revised course layout for 2026.
- 10 mile bike ride
- 30 mile bike ride
- 4 mile run
- 2 mile run
- Kid's Fun Run 1/4 mile
There are combo options that pair a bike ride with an evening run. The 10 mile bike is an out-and-back with a turnaround around mile five and a refreshment tent at that point. The 30 mile bike forms a larger loop with a refreshment tent near the halfway point.
All registered participants receive a Balloon Chase t shirt, a race medal, and a VIP dinner voucher. The Kid's Fun Run takes place immediately after the adult runs and includes a medal and VIP dinner voucher for child participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
