Balloon Chase 2026
Balloon Chase 2026 is part of the MS Hot Air Balloon Fest at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center on Soldiers Colony Road in Canton, Mississippi. The event includes non-competitive running and cycling options organized by Canton Tourism, Canton Parks & Recreation, the Mid-Mississippi Balloon Association, and The Good Samaritan Center.
Participants may run, walk, or bike in the presence of hot air balloons and receive event items including a race t-shirt, a race medal, and a VIP dinner voucher. Combo entries are offered so a participant can complete both a bike ride and an evening run in the same day. A Kid's Fun Run of 1/4 mile is included and receives a medal and VIP dinner voucher.
The course was updated for this edition. The ten mile bike option is an out-and-back with a refreshment tent at the turnaround near mile five. The thirty mile bike route is a larger loop with a refreshment tent near mile 15.
