Balloon Chase 2026
Balloon Chase 2026 is part of the MS Hot Air Balloon Fest and takes place at the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center on Soldiers Colony Road in Canton, MS, USA on June 27, 2026. The event features two non-competitive race programs for cyclists and runners organized by Canton Tourism, Canton Parks & Recreation, the Mid-Mississippi Balloon Association, and The Good Samaritan Center.
Participants receive a Balloon Chase t-shirt, a race medal, and a VIP dinner voucher. The event offers morning bicycle options and evening runs, and participants may enter a single event or a combined bike and run entry. A Kid's Fun Run of 1/4 mile follows the adult run; Kid's Fun Run participants receive a medal and VIP dinner access.

- 4 mile run
- 2 mile run
- 1/4 mile Kid's Fun Run
The course layout has been updated: the 10 mile bike is an out and back with a turn at mile five and a refreshment tent there, while the 30 mile bike follows a larger loop with a refreshment tent near mile 15.
