D.A.S.H In Life 5K : Merritt Island, FL
St Francis Hospice organizes the D.A.S.H In Life 5K at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center in Merritt Island. The event honors Veterans through Devotion, Admiration, Service and Honor and benefits the We Honor Veterans Program at St Francis Hospice. Participants may run, walk, march, skip or participate virtually in honor or memory of a Veteran. Service animals are the only pets permitted and strollers are welcome; strollers are asked to line up behind runners.

Packet pickup is available November 6 at Running Zone (3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32935) from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and November 7 at Brevard Veterans Memorial Center (400 S Sykes Creek Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32952) from 6:30 am to 7:15 am. Awards include top three overall male and female, top masters male and female (40+), and top three male and female in standard age groups. Amenities listed include a race T-shirt (one per racer guaranteed if registered by October 7, 2026), a challenge coin for all finishers, after-race drinks and nutrition, a scenic route in a park, and a static display area. Active duty and military veterans may use coupon code VET2026 for a $5 discount; veterans should indicate status on registration to be included in a pinning ceremony.
