About the race
Dash for Donation is an annual community event organized by Lifeline of Ohio to raise awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation and to support related programs. The event moves through the streets of Downtown Columbus and honors the generosity of donors while highlighting the role of donation in saving and healing lives.
The event structure includes opportunities for groups to participate together; team registration allows families, businesses and organizations to join in a common cause. Registration and contribution pages are scheduled to open in Spring 2027, and the next Dash is planned for July 10, 2027. Funds raised by the event are directed to programs that support donation and related services.
Lifeline of Ohio states a commitment to event safety. A designated safety lead is present at each event and armed, trained security officers are on site to respond to security concerns.
